hms42Just having a little fun @ 36k. I am enroute to California (for the weekend) for a family event and the plane had free internet. (Its OK.) I fly back on Sunday night, so this is just a quick back and forth trip, with a chance to see family at a happy event. I think its the first time since my sister's wedding (3 1/2 years ago) that my mother and her siblings and her mother were all together at one location.
I don't think I mentioned it, but OVFF sound recordings were 183gb from the zoom recorders. All permissions are being gone thru fuzzyvanman, so yes, while we can pass it along, it just has to go thru the channels. Yes, we will be inventorying and IDing people.
I also recorded @ Philcon 2 weeks ago. That was a bit more reasonable in recording size (another 48gb of recordings, but that time I also had the sound board setup.) Some good concerts occurred and a few songs that I had not heard before. The song writing panel was fun and a new song was written by a group and permission was granted to share it on the filk archive. (The Wet Side of the Moon.) Sorry about the poor quality of the song, but mid con editing, I went with a copy of the song I knew where to find it quickly from.)
