ConCertino 2012 CDs.... Updated 2x

Just a quick update. 

There will be TWO CDs releasing at ConCertino.   One you get with your membership at the convention.  (The last song permission came in this morning, yea!!!!)  

Just under 70 minutes of audio from the guests at this year's convention PLUS a song each from the 2013 convention guests and 3 songs performed by filkers we have lost in the past year.

I will be posting a song list over the weekend, after the 2013 guests are announced.

The other will be sodyera's first CD!  That one will be in the dealer's room.  That song list will go online tonight when I have a chance.  Cover art here in her post - http://sodyera.livejournal.com/328130.html   11 songs, about 44 minutes of audio.    Recordings are from various Lunacons, I-CON 2011 and a housefilk or two.  Its a mixture of live songs and a few songs that were recorded a few weeks ago for the CD..


One other CD:

I have arranged for copies of Leslie Fish's new CD "Avalon Is Risen" to be available in the dealer's room.  (If you want it sooner or mp3 downloads, you can order it directly from Prometheus Music.)  This CD was released earlier this month.

Great to hear! "Dealer's room" is grammatically correct, by the way, since Massachusetts law forces MASSFILC into being the only dealer, with the normal dealers acting as consignors.

The announcement of the guests will have happened once people can start picking up their program books, since the book has an ad for next year's con that lists guests.

You already have audio from NEXT YEAR'S con in hand? Dude, I knew you were good but not THAT good...Have you lucked into a small time machine? :-)
